A patterned jacket adds interest to an outfit that can go from the boardroom to an after-work meeting in comfort. Layering a sweater over your shirt keeps you comfortable in any office environment. Remember: flat front pants, guys—no pleats, please.

As the autumn winds blow, be flexible with a great, layered outfit topped with a jacket with sewn-in liner for comfort without bulk. When the wind blows a little harder, flip up the jacket collar for extra protection. Or better yet, toss it over her shoulders to keep her warm for the walk to the car.
